Spiced Tan Leather Belt

A matching belt to our sumptuous Spiced Tan range of cartridge pouches, constructed from the Tan leather in a twin ply construction with an Antique brass sports buckle, fixed keeper and includes a sliding keeper with "D" ring attachment.

9 Holes ensures the belt will fit over cold weather gear or shorten to work with summer clothing, two keepers to keep everything in place.

This belt is a perfect match for any of the Spiced tan leather pouches we produce, slightly lighter in weight than our bridle belts but rugged enough to cope with all weather conditions thanks to the high oil content of this leather, add to that the great worn in look.

This leather has a very natural finish and has not been corrected in any way, this gives a very rugged appearance, with age and use your new belt will lighten and pick up more of a distressed appearance, any marks or variations are part of the leather.

Your new belt will be given a coating of leather oil before it leaves the workshop this ensures it is ready for all weathers out of the box, with use the leather will lighten to a rich vintage distressed finish.

Maintenance

This leather will need some basic up keep to ensures it lasts for many years to come,

Apply a good quality leather oil like Effax leather oil or a Neats foot oil, apply a light coating and allow the leather to absorb the oil, this will darken the surface but with use the patina will return,

A  good brush with a horse hair brush or similar will remove any dry mud before applying a leather oil.
